Note; The slider ranges somewhere between 5 to 50 steps, so you will surely find more volume steps that is right for each category. Precise Volue is an app downloadable from the Google Play Store. It overrides your Android device default number of volume steps, from the 15 steps up to 100 different volumes. Precise Volume is a similar app to VolumeStep+ as it doesn't give the illusion of having more volume steps. The app functions by hooking into your device's audio system to give you a more volume options. Precise Volume is definitely cool as it doesn't just give you more fine control over your volume, it also makes your life a whole lot easier by automatically setting volume for you when you need it most.To get this one going, you'll need to grab "Precise Volume" from the Google Play Store. Next locate the app from your app drawer and open it. The main interface seems intuitive (Screenshot above) and apparently just like VolumeStep+, you'll need to use the slider to fine-tune your volume steps. Proceed with each entries (media, ringer, alarm, notification and system volume) to complete the task.
Using Precise Volume app, you can set up automatic volume to automatically set volume for different pairs of headphone, bluetooth devices, apps, and much more. Also, you can make it so that when you plug a headphone jack into your device, a dialog automatically pops up asking you which headphone preset to use.
